I haven’t really done much to promote this comic yet, but that’s probably because I want it to reach the point where it’ll be evident what I’m going to do with the story before I have hundreds of people reading it. I’ll throw this comic out into the public eye around 8 pages from now, at which time issue 1 will be complete, but for you guys who have been reading up to this point without me doing much other than just posting notices on facebook, I want to thank you for your kind compliments and support. It’s good to know that even without all that much promotion I still have some fans.

Turns out that talent agent that I mentioned in the last entry was actually not just some busker-to-busker salesman and I have an audition this Wednesday at the Red Dog.  I’m not sure that I’d actually win anything when all is said and done, but getting the chance to perform in front of a crowd could be fun, and on the offchance that the other 11 contestants get stricken with malaria, I can win $1,000!  What’s not to love?

Some of the more interesting things to have been said of/about me while busking via poi spinning in the past couple of months. 

• “Mommy, does he have powers?” ~ a toddler
• “How come you don’t have a job?” ~ 9 year old kid.
• “Nice balls.”  ~ Adult woman
• “Can I touch your balls? Play with your balls, etc.”  ~ Various
• “You should sign up to be in our local talent search!  Act now, and you  can win $1,000!!” ~ Some Talent Agent. 
• “You should light those on fire! (x12)” ~Just about everyone.

Sorry about the delay in updates, folks.  A couple of freelance projects piled up, so the comic was on a brief hiatus.  But we should now be back to full schedule!

Poor guy.  I’m sure he didn’t MEAN to be in the way.
